It’s not a race thing with Beyoncé. People love Darius Rucker. We’ve had black, Hispanic, Native American country artists that were loved. There’s a difference between someone from another musical culture or genre dipping their toes in a genre they’ve mocked for years to make a buck. Although Beyoncé is originally southern I think.

Country is exciting again and I’m back in with both feet. Hope it keeps.

It's a bunch of wannabees with cowboy hats that wish they could carry on the legacy of Cash, Haggard, Jennings, etc. I grew up on country music...I've played country music, I love REAL country music. They can take all these cookie cutter sound alikes (whose songs are ignorant, childish, and boring) and stuff them down the toilet. That's where crap belongs.

I think its pretty risky to just fully change genres thats why most of these pop stars will dip their toe in the country pool but wont fully embrace it and when they do i think its just tempting to make a country influenced pop song instead of an country song

I see the movement as less a grunge type movement and more of a Lumineers/Mumford of the mid 2000's. Less rebellion and more earnest heartfelt sing-along songs.

I've never felt more disconnected from one of your videos. Aside from Ernest and Lainey, I've never heard of any of those songs and the only other artist I've heard of is Muscadine Bloodline. Now, in fairness, I don't really listen to the radio, I don't have a TikTok, I don't use Spotify, etc. I get 99.9% of my music just listening to Pandora while I work, which has a tendency to repeat certain songs A LOT. So most of my music is Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, HARDY, Bailey Zimmerman, Tyler Hubbard, Warren Zeiders, etc. And, if I'm being honest, I find them much more catchy and enjoyable to listen to than anything you made on this list (and when I say ANYTHING, that really surprises me because I usually find at least 1 song I like from your videos).

Zach Top is hands down the best one on this list!
